Privacy

Last updated 2026-09-08. Applies to the app at expono.app and this site.

expono runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no sign-in, and no expono server that your diagrams pass through. This page says what that leaves.

Your files

A project is a file on your disk. Opening, editing and saving it happen in your browser, and nothing in it is sent anywhere. The same is true of images you insert and of anything you import from another tool.

What the app keeps in your browser

So that it works next time and works offline, expono stores a few things in the browser's own storage for expono.app, on your device only:

None of this leaves your device. To remove all of it, clear your browser's site data for expono.app.

What is sent, and to whom

If you write to us

Help → Report a bug… composes an email in your own mail app, addressed to , containing the version you are running, your browser, the window size, and whether the page was served offline. It contains nothing from your document, and you see the whole text before you send it. An email you send us is kept for as long as it takes to deal with it, and deleted on request.

Permissions

Insert → Screenshot… asks your browser for permission to capture a window or screen, for that one capture, and the image goes into your document like any other. The app asks for no other permission. Recording a narrated talk is not part of this version; when it is, the audio will stay on your device.

Who is responsible

expono is made by Code Supply, LLC. For anything about this page, or to have an email you sent us deleted, write to . Since we hold no personal data beyond email you choose to send, that is the whole of your data with us.

Changes

If what the app stores or sends changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
